the headlines today all talk about mike arroyo's operaion, bla, blah, blah. as if people really care.. as if that is an issue of national concern..as if he were the only person in this country of 87 million people who underwent surgery.. with all the problems of poverty and helplessness and hopelessness of many Filipinos, the newspapers have to cover his operation. so what? at least he has all the millions to assure himself of the best medical care from the most expensive hospital in the lnad. but what about the countless others who die from disease that could easily be cured if they had even 1 percent of mike arroyo's wealth? dusgusting...

I just love summer...summer with its vibrant, hot colors... summers with its greens and reds and yellows and golds... blazing sunrise and sunsets... ice and shakes...dozing the afternoon away in the porch cooled by the gentlest of summerbreezes... the april showers leaving drops that catch the sun's rays turining trees intosparkling chirtmas trees ablaze with a million sparking drops..the christmas trees of summer...

the inmate

wonder what happened to my textfirend. he was an inmate at Munti, got the life sentence for drug possession. If I were to believe his story, the drugs were planted by a cop..not that he wasn't a user to start with. anyway, i got to exchnage text messages with him. his being an inmate never mattered as I was impressed with his command of the language. anyway, the text stopped then i got a message from him that he had suffered a stroke and that was the last message. Is he still alive? I never got to know his real name..all i know were bits and pieces of his life... anyway if he had died, at least he's escaped that miserablelife in prison...
